Who's down for a new app from Google?

Google continues type to collect impressive press coverage to the moon shot projects as their project Loon or self-driving cars or even their previous forays into artificial intelligence. Their newest app, the Play Store might hit not quite live up to this hype, but Google hopes continued efforts to help people solve problems. The problem in this case seems to be to find someone who is hoping to hangout and the Who-down app to help.

According to Google's description of who is below will help you, "always know who is free to hand out, so that you never miss the fun." The app lets you push a slider button to your status to "down" to hangout whatever, or you can represent an application for a specific activity. Allegedly with location services, the app will show you nearby friends who are willing to be a meeting point. Of course, the app includes a chat feature, so that all the details worked out, if the parties involved are identified.

For now, Google is limiting use who called down to an invite-only system on the App. It is not clear how accustomed selected when you submit a request for an invitation.
